Why Join?

In return for their annual dues, all members receive the following:

Membership Dues

The cost to join depends on your membership type:

$15.00 for Student/Part-Time Professional
$25.00 for Full-Time Professional
$50.00 for Center Membership

Directors who choose Center Membership may add unlimited staff as MAWCA members. What a deal! Your staff can then convert to individual members if they choose to remain in the writing center community after leaving your center. Each bundled member has the same full benefits of student and professional membership.

Center Membership - $50.00 (USD) Bundle (unlimited) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments The person who purchases the Center Membership becomes responsible for enrolling all the members of the center and keeping that roster maintained. You can add and delete from your bundle in your member profile.

Full-Time Professional - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments

Student/Part-Time Professional - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments

Making changes

If you are currently an individual member and wish to change to Center Membership:

Login to the site
If needed, use the "forgot password" function top right of this page. A reset link will be sent to the email that we have on file for you.
Once logged in, your membership information will appear. Select change your membership level. This costs $50.
Once you have paid, you will be able to add your staff: they have all the benefits of membership.
If you enter the name of a staff person who is already a member, ask them whether they wish to be bundled!
