Book by February 22 to get these special conference rates.

Complimentary parking and a free continental breakfast included. Check in after 3 p.m.; check out by 11 a.m.

Transportation from the hotel: Attendees without cars can take the Fairfax CUE bus from the hotel to campus.  The CUE bus is free for all riders.

Campus can also be reached via Uber and Lyft.  If you use this option, we recommend setting the Johnson Center as your destination, as that will direct your driver to a drop-off point close to the conference buildings.

Parking

The closest parking garage to the conference buildings (Horizon Hall and the Johnson Center) is the Mason Pond parking deck. Visitor parking rates are available here. Click here to view a campus parking map.

travel

By Car

George Mason University is located in Fairfax, Virginia,, 30 minutes west of Washington, DC. Click here for directions from points north, south, east, and west. When programming your GPS, it's a good idea to search for "Mason Pond Parking Deck" rather than the university itself.

By Public Transit

Both campus and the conference hotel can be reached via the Metro by taking the Orange Line west to the Vienna Metro station (the last stop on the line), then riding the CUE bus to your destination.

For campus, from the Vienna metro station, take any CUE line (Green 1, Green 2, Gold 1, Gold 2) and exit at the Rappahannock & Patriot Circle stop (it will be obvious that you have arrived on campus). Once off the bus, walk south until you reach the Johnson Center. See this map for the walking route; you'll essentially walk from building 42 to building 30.

For the hotel, take either the Gold 2 or Green 2 CUE route from the Vienna metro station to the Fairfax Blvd. at Eaton Place stop. The hotel is located directly across Fairfax Blvd. from the bus stop.
