Call For Executive Board Member Nominations

In the spring of 2025, MAWCA will hold elections for 12 (twelve) open positions on the MAWCA Executive Board. Members of the Executive Board must be writing center directors or staff members, or those involved with writing centers. Board members should commit to being available for two face-to-face meetings per year: a September retreat and a spring meeting, usually held at the conference. They may also be asked to attend two virtual meetings per year. Nominations must be received by Friday, April 25, at 11:59pm.

Please consider running for a position or nominating a colleague. Serving on the board is a great way to promote the work of writing centers, meet writing center colleagues throughout the region, and gain professional development.
